Is Anger a Personality Trait?

By FBCStaff-They are known as the far left or far right and they both have one trait in common, anger. Some call them the “permanently angry.”
So what is driving the anger from both groups? Experts say it is identity politics.
“He said the events in Charlottesville were unfortunate but predictable. Over the last couple of decades, he explains, there has been an overwhelming focus on tribal “identity politics,” reinforcing the notion that people are singularly identified as racial, gender, or sexual minorities.”

Identity politics, identifying people by race/gender,sex divides and labels people into groups that can presented as victims of hate, discrimination, etc.  Then the media takes over and fabricates the news to target groups with accusations of hate.  This creates conflicts like Charlottesville.

“Gainor says the mainstream media doesn’t want to tell the truth and admit that violent fringe groups exist on both sides.”

The question we have to ask ourselves is, “was Charlottesville a natural event or was it orchestrated by some who stand to gain from the conflict?”  Perhaps we will never know the answer for certain but we can see there was potential for some to influence events.  But one thing we can be sure of identity politics was a factor and there were two angry sides involved.
